Cameo Dress Brooches And Fine Beads

Clothing brooches, these rare ancient jewels were worn as a duo on a garment thanks to the crimped peak on the back. Each antique brooch is formed from a half fine pearl set within a pattern edged with gold, which retains a tassel by a double chain, a round pattern set in the center of a cameo on bilayer agate surrounded by a thread black enamel, all edged with half fine pearls.

Period: 19th century
Main material: yellow gold, 750 thousandths, 18 carats.
Proportions: Height: 4.9 cm, diameter of the bottom pattern: 2 cm, thickness: 5.8 mm.
Net weight: approx.12g.
Authentic old jewel - French work from the second half of the 19th century. A few tiny jumps of enamel, hardly visible.
Our opinion: Rare because they are often separated or transformed, these clothing jewels are in exceptional condition for their time.
