Curmer, editor, 1836; in-4, LXXX - 263 + 410 pp., full purple morocco binding, spine adorned with 5-ribbed frames, covers adorned with a romantic vegetal frame stamped in gold, itself in a stamped frame, gilt edges, internal threads . The 2 volumes. A frontispiece printed in gold and colors. Translated from the vulgate by Father Dassance, Vicar General of Montpellier. Illustrated with engravings by Tony Johannot, Cavelier, Gérard-Seguin and Brevière. Text in a beautiful frame representing angels. Superb copy, unsigned binding but beautifully made.
