Beautiful Large 19th century spring landscape of an orchard, oil on canvas by Adolphe Clary-Baroux. Extended view of the spring orchard similar to Van Gogh's series of paintings The Orchard of the Arrival of Spring in Arles, 1888 when Clary-Baroux was a young painter who would later be influenced by Pissarro and Sisley. This work is different from most of the catalog because of the landscape paintings by Clary-Baroux. It shows a composition similar to Van Gogh's flowers and distinctly mimics Van Gogh's long expressive brush in the long grass in the foreground. This suggests that Clary-Baroux was influenced by Van Gogh before his fame and may even have been painted alongside him during this time. The condition is excellent, signed and framed.
