"Saint Clare Of Assisi Oil On Copper From The Beginning Of The Eighteenth Century"
Beautiful oil on copper depicting in its center on a gilded background the portrait of Saint Clare of Assisi half-length in her Franciscan bure robe, a branch in her hand. Annotated in its lower part, in a cartouche: Vera S.clarae.effigies Italian school from the end of the 17th century to the beginning of the 18th century. Dimension: Height: 23.3 cm Width: 16.5 cm In good condition despite small gaps, scratches, oxidations of seniority, consistent with its age. The photos show flaws which remain discreet on the original piece (some whitish halos are in fact lack of varnish and not lack of gold).
