Large oil torchère lamp from the late 19th century signed E. BRUCHON (Emile Bruchon 1806 -1895) and foundry stamp in Paris located at the back of the subject with a winged female figure representing the allegory of peace titled on a cartouche in facade. Elegant sculpture in spelter with polychrome bronze patina depicting a winged Victory standing on a natural mound decorated with a plinth in sour marble, the young woman holds a palm branch symbolizing: hope; glory; victory; temperence; while with the other hand she brandishes a torch of light representing a tank in emerald green opalescent glass enameled with gold with a pattern of flowery foliage ending at the top with a translucent tube. Good general condition, beautiful patina, electrified lamp without drilling the sculpture. Total height 1 m 13 / Subject alone without lighting: 67 cm
