Very interesting work from the 1950s, in the spirit of Jean Dubuffet. On the verso, this oil on canvas laid sdown on isolrel is attributed to Christo Coetzee (1929-2000), an important South African painter who indeed, was in Europe between 1951-59. On the back also, an inscription or title in English "Easter Island, Moai stautues"
