"Bowl Covered In Silver, France Early 20th Century By H. Nesme"
Covered bowl with circular ears with smooth body decorated on the edge of a frieze of water leaves. The pierced silver ears form a floral ornamentation made up of palm leaves, acanthus, windings of stems, flowers and pineapple. The lid is domed, underlined by a frieze of pearls and decorated at the top with a pierced corolla, lined with small flowers, foliage and palm leaf petals. The spinning top is engraved with diamond dots and decorated with water leaves. Louis XV style 950/1000 silver, Minerva hallmarks This bowl was made in the workshops of the Lyon master silversmith Henry Nesme at the beginning of the 20th century Length: 33 cm Diameter: 22.2 cm Height: 14 cm Weight: 952 gr
