"Rare Coffer Decorated And Monogrammed Régence Period"

Precious coffer in Martin varnish, decorated in the center by the toilet of Venus, inspired by the eponymous painting by Francesco Albani, conserved in the Prado museum. The four sides figure scenes of Love: the forge of the arrows, the archery training, the preparation of the chariot and the rest.
The cover decorated in four corners with a crowned monogram: Two interlaced L, A and two S.
Gilded iron clip, in its original gilding ; the inside lacquered in aventurine.
Regence period, circa 1730.
