PIPELET - Manual of people inconvenienced by hernias or descents, defect of conformation or other infirmities by means of which it will be easy for them to direct themselves in the use of the bandages or the machines essential for their treatment. Paris, Herhan, 1805; in-12, 95 pp., period paperback. Second edition. In his preface the author claims to be working on a work on hernia surgery, I have not found any trace of it… We know that the author was part of the Paris medical society and that he was a member of the colleges and academies of surgery in this town. Very rare book.
