Joseph du Chesne (in Latin Josephus Quercetanus), sieur de la Violette and baron de Morence, is a French chemist, alchemist, doctor, writer and diplomat born around 1544 in Armagnac, died August 20, 1609. One of the first texts to be treated of dietetics. First edition.
