"Planter By Asch In Tours"
This Tours earthenware planter was made by Asch, from the end of the 19th century in the Napoleon III style. The decorations consist on one side of an elegant pattern with dolphins embellished with foliage and flowery scrolls. The reverse is encrypted "LV" also embellished with foliage. The rest of the planter is decorated with rockeries and small flowers. Note a glued chip visible on photo. The planter is signed G Asch Tours and de la Hache which is the hallmark of the pottery.
