"Charles X Wedding Chest In Rosewood And Lemon Tree, Tomb Shape, XIXth Time"
Superb and very rare large wedding chest from the Charles X period. In the form of a sarcophagus tomb, it is formed by an important ogee on several levels in the lower part and a concave ogee lid. It is in rosewood veneer and wears a very fine marquetry of light wood, lemon or maple with flowers, cornucopias, foliage, birds and butterflies. The interior is padded with fabric. Very good condition of the house, some slight heaving and lack of veneer but nothing too bad. There is no key. Charles X period, circa 1830. Delivery 50 euros in France, 150 euros in the EU and 250 euros rest of the world.
