Very nice little Chinese desk, very probably by Gabriel Viardot, It has a drawer adorned with a beautiful catch depicting a winged dragon, the top is overdecorated with a naturalistic scene of birds in a lush nature in polychrome lacquer, The lacquer is worn in places, it is protected by a bevelled glass plate, the office structure is decorated with a frieze of carved Chinese motifs in perfect condition, circa 1900, very good condition
