"Anglo-norman Chest In Oak, Mid 18th Century Period."
Louis XIII style Anglo-Norman laundry chest, Period mid-18th century, made up of 3 panels with a pot-band on the front and a slightly domed top closing with a working hasp lock. The high front cross member is carved with initials C W G on either side of the lock. The interior consists of a secret eclipette concealing a double bottom.
Remarkable patina.
