Saint Michael slaying the dragon is represented here in the form of a large wall sculpture with all the elements that characterize it.
Dressed in a long tunic, he carries with his left hand the scales for the weighing of the souls of the deceased and brandishes a sword with his right hand. Defeating the demon often symbolized as a dragon or a fantastic animal, he masters and controls it. His dynamic gesture is accompanied by a momentum given by the movement of the legs in full race.
The large golden wings give fluidity to this large decorative sculpture of the XIXth century in polychrome and gilded pine.
In good condition, with reinforcements on the back to consolidate some cracks.
