Giovanni Battista Felice Castagneto, also known as João Batista Castagneto, is an Italian-Brazilian painter.
Sailor and sailor's son, he was an important painter of seascapes.
Born in 1862 in Italy (he would have lied about his age to enter the Academy of Fine Arts in Rio de Janeiro), died in 1900.
