"XIXth Stamped Game Table"
Late 19th century game table, in walnut with gold fillets, signed on a brass medallion "ES Paris BTée SGDG" (mention appeared in 1844), it opens with a system of double sliding rails and discovers a varnished mahogany interior presenting a game of backgammon (complete with its ebony and boxwood tokens and 2 leather cups), a roulette game (complete with ivory ball, removable tray that can be stored under the table and bone tokens), a tray forming checkerboard and chessboard (also complete with its period pieces - sulphide eyes for riders - in light wood and carved blackened wood), and a large box containing old games, some in bone, ebony, light wood and ivory. All in very good condition except for a few small gaps on the mat of the folding tray and backgammon. Dimensions open: 136 x 104 cm
