Very beautiful decorative object that this wood sculpture representing an angel's face seeming to emerge from the clouds and adorned with a drape. Work from the end of the 16th century / very early 17th century. This large woodwork element can be simply placed on a piece of furniture as a decorative object, but it can also be easily hung on a wall (back of the flat object) or even be positioned on an electrified plinth and thus become a sumptuous and very original lighting. This sculpture is in good condition despite its great age but it has of course received some restorations (filling and consolidations), old traces of xylophages are still visible but no longer have any impact.
