"Rare L XIV Period Barber Pot."
For collector. Rare barber jar intended for hot water service as part of men's toiletries and more particularly for shaving under the reign of Louis XIV. Classic model with oval section, baluster shape. The side grip presents a beautiful largely hemmed winding typical of this period. Very good used condition despite some very light and discreet shocks; silvering, certainly later, also in very good condition. Beautiful French work from the end of the 17th century or the beginning of the 18th century.
