Artist: Guy Bardone (1927-2015)
Guy Bardone studied at the Beaux-Arts in Lyon then at the École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, from 1945. The painter's work was quickly noticed: he won the Félix Fénéon prize in 1952, took part in the exhibitions Celebrities and revelations of painting contemporaries and École de Paris in 1953, and his work is exhibited in galleries in Paris, London, New York, Moscow, etc. His painting is figurative and very colorful, the artist plays a lot with the material. He has a special admiration for Bonnard. Some of his works are now kept in public collections.
