he candlesticks are from the emperor's goldsmith Pierre Paraud.
A famous Parisian silversmith, he was active between 1800 and 1812 and specialized in liturgical pieces. The emperor entrusted him with the silverware of the royal chapel in the Tuileries, of which the Louvre Museum now holds a few pieces dating from 1806 (Benedictory and its Goupillon), 1809 (Chalice, cruets), 1812 (Paten) and even 1813 (Ciborium, made or at least delivered by his widow).
He also had a production, very appreciated, of torches and candlesticks.
