Eugène Claude was born on June 10 or July 16, 1841, and died in 1922 or 1923 in Paris.He was a painter of genre, animal, still lifes, flowers and fruits. He participated in the Paris Salon from 1861, obtaining an honorable mention in 1885, a third class medal in 1887.
He also received a third class medal at the Universal Exhibition of Paris in 1889. He was mainly an interior painter of cooking, still lifes, fruits, flowers, game.
