The latter is a Parisian cabinetmaker who obtained his master's degree in 1761. He is known for his large production of small tables as evidenced by the piece of furniture we are talking about here. Indeed, already through the archival documents, we learn that a very large number of tables were present in its stock. Among these, we count the small flying tables: with a row of drawers, they are light and very fashionable among the cabinetmaker's contemporaries. Our table is a perfect example. His production Transition precisely presents a plateau where the decor is highlighted (whether geometric patterns, flowers, etc.). In addition, the amounts are generally cut sides. Finally, the belt is sometimes inlaid with interlacing and a pattern of four leaves, as our work once again testifies.
