Pair Of Small Hunting Scene Paintings

Pair of French paintings from the early 1900s.
The hunting scene is depicted in two phases;
In the first painting, set in a forest,
we see a poacher intent on setting hare traps
with the complicity of a full moon night.
In the second painting we find the same poacher,
but this time dealing with a threatening forest ranger
who surprised him with the prey still in his hand.
The worried face of the poacher confers
an almost amusing note to the scene represented.
The paintings are in good condition but have small imperfections.
On request we provide a quote for restoration and retouching of the frames.
The measure of the paintings excluding the frame is 35 cm in height and 27 cm in width.
