Powerful French Key Circa 16th Century, Rare Model, Emergency Key.

Superb key, very interesting: the design of the ring, beautiful and rare, the square-section baluster base, the powerful 15mm diameter rod ! marked with the N ° XII, slotted at its end, the thick bit still Gothic, with doubled openings, and also (which cannot be seen): the original tin plating of this key, it was plunged into a hot pewter bath to protect it from corrosion.
