Calvini is a painter of Italian origin, born in 1840 in San Remo, little is known of his life, although he studied at the school of fine arts in Marseille. If he also paints landscapes, he is known and appreciated 'for his still lifes. He obtained several medals and diplomas of honor. Died' in 1898 in Marseille.
