Pair of solid silver candlesticks, circular base decorated with swans facing each other, surmounted by a sheath shaft, engraved with foliated garlands, under profiles of bacchantes. They end with tulip-shaped binets receiving their bobeches. The base is engraved with the count's coat of arms. Work of master silversmith Denis Garreau, installed 62, rue du Temple in Paris, and received master in 1817. Old man hallmark, Paris, after 1819. Good condition; note a very slightly dented binet.
