Magnificent cutlery set, Orly model, creation by Lino Sabattini for the Christofle workshop , with 124 pieces for twelve people. Launched by his mentor Gio Ponti with a major solo exhibition in Milan at the beginning of the 1950s, Sabattini became creative director at the great Parisian house between 1956 and 1963. He gave birth to a range of objects with very sober, pure lines and elegant which have almost all become legendary and can be found today in the collections of the greatest museums such as MOMA or the Victoria ans Albert.
