"Large Canton Porcelain Lamp, Circa 1880"
Large ovoid-shaped vase terminated by a long conical neck with an everted lip in canton porcelain predominantly green and white. The body decorated with green vermicles, butterflies and pink flowers on a gold background has eight cartouches in reserve adorned with floral motifs and palatine scenes on a white background. The glue is entirely decorated with palatine scenes. The porcelain is protected by an Asian-style gilded bronze frame decorated with floral friezes and dog pho as feet. Gilt bronze frame.
