"Beautiful And Rare Baccarat Cup Engraved With Acid, "frieze In The Antique", Era Daum Galle, Circa 1880"

Pretty and rare Baccarat bowl, finely etched with acid decorated with an orange-lined glass frieze called "antique" on a sandblasted background. The collar and the foot have a fine edging of the same color while the whole is enhanced by opaque balls made with the wheel. Pretty round shape on a small piedouche. This decoration was very fashionable around 1880, it is characteristic of the Baccarat crystal, we also find this pattern on many other pieces of the crystal (see last photos). Perfect, 13 cm in diameter. Beautiful collector's item.
