Basin with its brass shovel. 19th century folk art from the Netherlands. Basin with openwork decoration in the shape of a stylized fleur-de-lis. The shovel represents a little good woman with open arms, ready to receive the embers from the fireplace, in order to fill the basin and accomplish its mission, to heat the bed. Length of the shovel 57 cm, width 20 cm. Length of the basin 53 cm, width 13 cm. Condition of use.
