"Pair Of Louis XIV Candelabra"
Pair of Louis XIV style candelabras, with three sconces, in very finely chiseled and gilded bronze. Sheath shaft surmounted by openwork staples, resting on a circular base adorned with lion muzzles on the counter-plinth, surmounting the base decorated with flares connected by intertwined foliage. The bouquet is adorned with a flowery basin resting on a large central binet decorated with rosettes and pamettes. The curved and counter-curved sconces decorated with acanthus leaves, are housed in square sections ending in seeds, supporting basins in the shape of cups decorated with foliage and acanthus leaves, on which hoes rest lotus leaf lighting. This model of candelabra is of exceptional quality, having retained its original gilding. Diameter of the base: 18 cms
