Pair of Athenian covered vases, with ram's heads, Louis XVI style, in peach blossom marble with mounts and rich fittings in chiseled bronzes and gilded with two-tone mercury, mat and gloss burnished with agate. Peach blossom marble vase decorated with rams' heads connected by flower garlands. Tripod frame with clogs resting on a Patricia green marble plinth. Conical shaped cover adorned at the top with large stylized lotus leaves ending in a socket simulating a pine cone. Exceptional quality embossing and gilding. Dimensions of the marble tripod base: 15 cms
