His Favorite Pets, 19th Century by Léon HERBO (1850-1907) Beautiful large 19th century French portrait of a lady accompanied by her favorite pets, oil on canvas by Léon Herbo. Exquisite study of the lady in a red dress and seated on a golden chair with a cat and a dove. Beautiful example of Herbo's painting which captured the fashions and figures of Parisian society towards the end of the 19th century. Good original condition, signed and dated 1889. Presented in a superb antique gilded frame. Dimensions: 37 "x 31" framed
