Chiseled and molded bronze.
This exceptional pair of sconces consists of a winged Victory in acanthus sheath and hair adorned with stars carrying two torches.
By its exceptional quality and the uniqueness of this model we could attribute it to Claude Galle (1759, 1815).
The four arms support binets deeply chiseled with foliage and a frieze of diamonds. In the lower part, a bulb of acanthus leaves surrounded by flowers in scrolls extends the sheath. The rich work of carving is embellished by a shiny and amati elmoulu.
