"David Olere 1902 - 1985: Ernst Lubitsch"
Beautiful and rare ink drawing by David OLERE representing the German filmmaker Ernst Lubitsch, well recognizable by his hairstyle, for which he worked in the early 1920s. Rare testimony to his German cinematographic era since he emigrated to France in 1923. After the war he devoted himself almost exclusively to the testimony of the Shoah. Signed lower left: D.
