René Jean CLOT Algeria 1913 - 1997 Clermond-Ferrand French painter, engraver and writer, he joined the School of Fine Arts in Algiers in 1934, moved to a workshop in Montparnasse in 1935,: student of Grommaire and Othon Friez at the Académie Scandinave in 1936, was one of the literary men of the École d'Alger group.
