This great navy is in very good condition, it was formerly rentalized.A slight lightening of varnish would allow the paint to find a more beautiful light.
Despite the presence of a flag on the cliff at the top right, I could not identify the place of the painting. It is most probably a Breton or Norman coast that the painter likes to paint.
The painter was able to capture in a remarkable way the movement of the waves that come crashing on the coast, but also the light that crosses the clouds and comes to reflect on the sea.
