Superb table lamp signed A.Ollier -Aubin Ollier master glassmaker for the Hanots glassworks- Refined model called mushroom lamp with base and pear-shaped shade in thick glass animated with a plant decoration in high relief with patterns in the purest Art style Deco. Very good condition, to be electrified. Dimensions: 34 cm high X 20 cm wide. A graduate of the École Centrale in 1890, Aubin OLLIER was first a hardware store for furniture, before taking over the activities of the Fargues & Apcher establishments, renowned producer of crystals and glassware for lighting and supplier to the City of Paris or to the Railway Company. He also founded Les Etablissements Ollier et Cie in 1931 to operate three stores in Paris, the most important of which was located at numbers 20, 21 and 24 rue de l'Hirondelle (6 Place Saint-Michel), as well as reserves in Aubervilliers. Its offer was aimed at individuals and manufacturers of lighting equipment and included many models from Muller Frères, Hanots or Bohemian glassworks. It also presented registered models which bore its own signature, as is the case for this pressed glass mushroom lamp proposed in its general catalog of August 1932 under the reference 2307.
