This 18th century chest of drawers with floral marquetry medallion opens on the front with two drawers without visible crosspieces. It is inlaid with rosewood veneer in frames of Rio rosewood, boxwood fillets and lemon tree fillets. This piece of furniture rests on four arched feet ending in gilt bronze clogs decorated with animal paws. Marquetry on the front and on the sides decorated with Greek nets. Original gilt bronze pull handles and apron. Ornamentation of chiseled and gilded bronzes. Original veined beige marble top with projections ending in a fine molded groove.
