Large flat Parisian desk with all sides, Louis XV period. Circa 1750 In rosewood marquetry veneer in violet wood frames and boxwood fillets. This middle piece of furniture, inlaid on four sides, opens on the front with three large drawers mounted on oak wood, of which the middle one is set back slightly framed by two pretty bronzes. This 18th century piece of furniture with remarkable proportions rests on four curved legs decorated with its scraps and hooves in gilded bronze. Beautiful ornamentation of chiseled and gilded bronzes with fine gold. Eventful tray set with its astragalus and gilt bronze spandrels. The top inlaid with a frieze frames a patinated gold full grain leather with tone-on-tone decoration and fine gold highlights. Use and maintenance restorations like the three locks replaced.
