Baguès is a lighting manufacturer founded in 1840 by Noël Baguès, which first was specialized first in manufacturing liturgical bronzes manufacturing. With the generalization of electricity in the household, the Bagues house starts the realization of lighting bronzes in the 1860’s. Bagues’ chandeliers are exported worldwide et make Bagues a reference in the luminaire lighting field thanks to its craftsmanship. Materials are shaped by traditional techniques as well as crimping, gilding, and patina which allow Bagues to have the status of Living Heritage Business, a witness of studio’s historical savoir-faire and their transmission.
