Bu-Shfer Snaphaunce musket of the
Altit type. The slender smoothbore barrel with belled muzzle above engraved silver plates; seventeen silver or brass barrel bands; breech section with integral rear sight. Substantial snaphaunce lock of characteristic form. Butt stock of characteristic form and covered with scrolling silver plates, small bone roundeds, the wrist reinforced with small silver bands and silver wire; butt composed of bone and ivory panels and secured by a silver framework.
In uncleaned but fair condition with dark mottled patina overall showing areas of wear and superficial rust. One bone cartouche missing near the butt. Length 161 cm.
