Painting Oil On Canvas

Important framed oil on canvas, entitled "the three graces", signed lower left Jean Aujame. (Dimensions of the canvas: H / 184 L / 184 cm). Painter born in 1905 in Aubusson, died in 1965 in Paris. He attended the school of fine arts in Rouen, a city where his father was president of the tribunal, from 1922 to 1923, he created the Society of Norman artists. He did his military service between 1927 and 1929, then he moved to Paris where he met Yvonne Guichard who would become his wife. The year 1931, in Paris, is that of his first participation in the Salon des Indépendants, with other new ones. It has since appeared in many museums such as the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum in Albi, the Fine Arts Museum in Angers, the At and Archeology Museum in Aurillac, the Museum of the Thirties in Boulogne-Billancourt, the Château Grimaldi in Cagne-sur-mer, the Museum of Fine Arts in Chartres and finally the Roger-Quillot Art Museum in Chermont-Ferrand.
