"Pair Of Large Empire Porcelain Vases - 2 Elements Allegory (water & Air) - 38.5cm"
Large pair of ornamental Paris porcelain vases. Work from the Empire period - early 19th century, 1810s. Beautiful two-sided decor, on the front of nude women or ancient deities (reminiscent of the decorations of the Beauharnais hotel in Paris), on the back decor of Military trophy with gold in matt and shiny. Very beautiful ornamentation of gilding in matt and shiny on the whole vase, particularly the side handles in busts of women in the antique gilded in matt. Large model, very decorative, formats of this size were a luxury production at the time. Beautiful complement of Empire decoration decor. Our vases are well preserved (fresh gilding, bright colors) Restoration on the base, but most of the vase and notably the winged busts are intact Height: 38.5cm
