Bronze sculpture by Auguste Moreau (Dijon 1834 - Malesherbes 1917) third son of the statuary and painter Jean Baptiste Moreau, he was introduced to sculpture with his older brother Mathurin. In 1861, he made his debut at the Salon, he exhibited regularly and extensively until 1913 subjects, genre scenes, pastorals, allegories in a realistic and graceful style.
