"D’argental, Blackberry Vase"
Piriform vase decorated with blackberries on a gradient ocher background. Vase signed Dargental.Paul Nicolas began to sign his personal productions Dargental between 1919 and 1952. In 1893, after his studies at the School of Fine Arts in Nancy, he was hired by Emile Gallé with whom he did all his apprenticeship until he became a master glassmaker. His artistic taste and technicality are reflected in the elegance of this vase.
