Bronze statue XIXth century, showing Figaro (famous character from the opera) very elegantly dressed, playing the mandolin. Signed Bouret on the base, with the presence of a plaque indicating: Figaro by Bouret (Mentioned at the Salon). Remarkable quality of carving, original patina nuanced and heightened in the details. Bronze numbered and monogrammed, good condition, normal wear and some cracks (visible on the photos) Eutrope Bouret Parisian sculptor (1833/1906) pupil of Buhot, was a member of the Society of French Artists and his works exhibited at the Salon from 1875 to 1903.
