Arturo Peyrot Filippini was born in 1908 in Rome, where he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in 1932, obtaining the "Fossati Prize", a recognition given to the best student of the year.
He won a prize as a national artistic retiree in 1935, while two years later, in 1937, he visited Rhodes and Athens.
Takes part in the XXXI National Art Quadrennial 1936-1943.
He was appointed professor of the Chair of Design "For a clear reputation" at the National School of Ceramic Art of Civita Castellana in 1940; two years later, he was called to participate in the XXth International Art Biennale in Venice.
He stayed in Paris in 1950 and the following year obtained a scholarship from the Italian Ministry of National Education for Spain. He participated in the II Biennial of Mediterranean Art in Alexandria and the III Biennale of Hispanoamericana, held in Barcelona, in 1955 and 1953 respectively.
He held national exhibitions in Madrid in 1957, 1966, 1968. He was selected for the III and IV "Prix Duran" in 1986 and 1988; also selected for the 1st MBW Prize in Madrid in 1986.
In 1984 he received an honorable mention in Madrid for the Catalan Circle Painting Prize; he obtained the second prize at the XIVth Painting Competition of the Caisse d'Épargne de Madrid in 1986 and two years later, in 1988, at the VIIIth Painting Prize of the Catalan Circle, also in Madrid; then, the same year, he received the Special Prize of the First National Competition of the “Centro Cultural de Lavapiés”, Madrid.
The artist, now of international renown, died in 1993 in Madrid.
