Important incense burner in finely chiseled gilt bronze, decorated with three cherubs or Cupids making a circle while holding hands, between each of the bunches of fruit; tripod base with acanthus leaves, foot in the shape of faun mascarons, upper part with gadroons, foliated sockets, signed Raulin *, Napoleon III XIXth century. This perfume burner is in good condition and is of exceptional quality. Signed under each foot. A note: some tiny bumps and scratches from time, cover a little blackened by use, wear of time, take a good look at the photos. * Victor Raulin cabinetmaker and bronzier of art. Works with his father at 93 rue de Turenne (take part in an Exhibition in 1867). His activity alone then extended from 1878 to 1925. He participated in the Universal Exhibitions of Paris in 1878 and 1889 where he obtained silver medals. Installed at 110 rue Vieille du Temple then at 209 Bd St Germain.
